Hockey anyone? This graph shows levels over the past 1000 years of global population, the concentrations of three major greenhouse gasses, and global average surface temperature. The scales have been normalized to show the strong similarity in the trends. One need not project these trends too far into the current century to see that we are in for some serious dislocations resulting from rising temperatures.
