GeoOptics Opens Boulder Office
In July 2010, GeoOptics opened a new main office in Boulder, Colorado. The office, measuring 4,000 sq ft, serves as a design center and home base for space system planning and data analysis activities.
Located at 3665 Discovery Drive, the office is strategically located within walking distance of CU and the CU Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. The proximity to LASP will allow GeoOptics to work closely with LASP on a daily basis in the implementation and operation of the CICERO constellation as part of our ongoing strategic partnership.
In addition to housing GeoOptics staff, the office will serve as a supplemental facility for spacecraft implementation. A modest assembly and test area for prototype and engineering model hardware is under construction. Primary assembly of the CICERO spacecraft be performed at LASP in their 2-Story clean room across the street from the GeoOptics offices.
